Internships at the Abbe Museum

Abbe : Education : Internships
Rachel Robinson and Scrapbook

Rachel Robinson shows off her
summer internship project.

As a small non-profit organization, the Abbe Museum offers a limited number of volunteer internships for high school and
college students.

WaYS Internships

For this coming summer season, the Abbe is excited to partner with Friends of Acadia and the University of Maine to offer two internships through the Wabanaki Youth Sciences Program (WaYS). This program works to inspire in Wabanaki youth a love of science which will continue into college and possibly translate into a career in the sciences. To do this the program blends both science and cultural understandings together into a unique curriculum. For more information contact Julia Clark, Director of Collections and Interpretation, at (207) 288-3519 or Learn more about the WaYS program >
