Abbe : Education : Educator Resources
Drama and Literature Workshop

As a leader in the state for Wabanaki education, the Abbe Museum
offers many resources for teachers. The Abbe hosts teacher workshops, participates in graduate level courses for teachers in partnerships with state colleges and the tribes, and education staff are available for workshops at conferences and schools throughout the state. As dates and specific offerings vary, please check the teacher workshop page for details, or contact Julia Clark, Director of Collections and Interpretation, at (207) 288-3519 or julia@abbemuseum.org.

The Abbe has free resources available through our website for teachers, including links to our on-line timeline of Wabanaki history, Wabanaki Curriculum unit, and the Passamaquoddy Kit, all of which can be
downloaded and used for free. We also have a list of reference materials teachers will find helpful as background information or for use with their students - click on "other resources" to learn more. Teachers receive a discount from the Abbe Shop. Just ask!
